So I’ve been saying for months that I love anything that I can show a little skin in and still be covered. Of course I am partial to my sheer karatan shirts and tunics that I have ,but this time thanks to Gwynnie Bee, I got to try alittle lace.
I have worn full lace on a dress from Kiyonna before but the lace sleeved top was new to me. Thanks to Gwynnie Bee this week I had the chance to wear the Kylie Lace Ruched Top. You may have been following along in the past few Gwynnie Bee posts where I discussed #TeamArmsOut , where I challenge us girls of size to wear their arms out loud and proud. With this lace shirt I lucked up in that I could hide and still show my arms at the same time.
This shirt is great for any type of bottom. You can rock with jeans, black work pants, a pencil skirt or in my case I went for my must have black jeggings. I would have liked this shirt more had it not kept falling down in the bust area. I think it is for a women who has a little more in the cleavage area. However, the rest of the shirt fit me like a glove. The ruch-ing in the front was one of my favorite features because it really cut down on the tummy area. The shirt being black also played a great part in the slimming down process as well.
This shirt definitely would work well with a necklace of some sort but as you may know I am not a jewelry person and prefer to make my hair and makeup my main accessories. I still need to work on picking out the right color shoes for outfits so I went for my basic black heel but something tells me that my nude pumps would have went well with this too.
