I am back again plus size and full figured readers with another new arrival from Gwynnie Bee. In past Gwynnie Bee posts I talked about how I hate wearing my arms out. So when I received the below Luci Lu Lula Dress , I was a bit hesitant . I usually have to draw courage to wear something with short sleeves.

The dress is from the Luci Lu line (not to be confused with the actress) and features a modern but retro vintage flair. It is a wrap dress and I loved the wrapping on it because it hides the problem areas and tucks everything away nice and neatly. Additionally the print on the dress is amazing because it too helps hide alot.

Remember earlier I mentioned the arms? What makes this dress perfect for us thick armed girls is the ruffles on the upper sleeves. It evens out that problem area of the arms, that most people want to hide. Though I have a fear of arms out , I didn’t hesitate to put this piece on.

I loved every aspect of this dress except that even on me at 5’2 I felt it was a bit to short. In fairness I have a bit of a large backside so the dress is bound to hike up a bit in the back. If you are less voluptuous in that area then you should be okay.  I paired the dress with a basic black heel that I had, but a friend also suggested that this dress would go great with a pair of red heels to make it pop.

All in all the dress very comfortable, the material is great and not clingy. It’s quality material but light enough that you aren’t hot in it. I think pairing this with stockings is even better.
