I’ve tried to list military discounts in various parts of the country. These discounts include some theme parks, attractions, lodging.
Universal Studios Hollywood offers military discounts all year long. You should be able to obtain discount tickets from any MWR/ITT/ITR office onpost. Currently they do have a great military offer which allows you to purchase a one day ticket for $54.75 and use it as a year long pass. Their are some blackout dates but not many. To obtain this ticket click the Universal Studios link and call the listed phone number. According to the representative I spoke to that particular offer is only available by calling that number listed on that page.
The cool people in the PR Dept at Knotts Berry informed me that in addition to their normal military discount of $29.99 pp …they will run Military Tribute Days for Active Duty and Vets. On May 30th-31st & July4th & 5th all AD and Vets will gain admission free and will have the option to purchase up to six extra tickets for the normal military discount rate of $29.99.
Active Duty and Veterans can look forward to free admission the entire month of November.
Normal admission to KnottsBerry is $53.99 so these are great deals!
The San Diego Zoo & Wild Animal Park offers daily free admission to Active Duty service members. Dependents receive a 10% discount. Dependents 12 & older gain admission to the park for $33.30 and dependents under 12 gain admission to the park for $24.30
I know many are wondering if Disneyland is doing any special military offers like Disney World’s four day $99 ticket special . Unfortunately the rep I spoke with informed me that they aren’t at the time, but to check with your local MWR/ITR office onpost to get discounted Disneyland tickets.
