The commissary has been receiving mixed reviews lately in the military community. Everything from bare shelves overseas to complaints about short lifespans on produce brought from the commissary has been a topic of discussion.

Even still the commissary is a staple of military life. It’s one of the main benefits of being in the military and despite the upping of prices on or near pay day, shopping there still tends to be considerably cheaper.

What you may not know is that there are a lot of non DOD commissary deals sites out there, and quite a few savings resources via the commissary itself to help you get the best bang for your buck.

This site is open to all members of the military and shares useful information about shopping at the commissary which includes, contest , giveaways , coupons and much more. It has recently been revamped and updated with a blog that has great articles on military life.

3. Thrify Shopaholic

A coupon savings blogs with a special updated to let you know about ways you can save on specific product at the commissary or better yet get them for free.

4. MyMilitarySavings.com

Another commissary savings site geared towards sharing, deals, exclusive coupons and fun giveaways. I really enjoy their contests. They are always giving away commissary gift cards or great gift packs.

5. ConAgra Foods Commissary Deals

I love brand food sites that offer deals exclusive to the military community.

Tons of different deals and savings on various brands along with other cool things like recipes and recipes.

7. Unilever’s Operation In Touch Site

As you may know Unilever puts out awesome brands like Dove, Caress, Lipton , Magnum Ice Cream and many more. On their portal site for military you can not only enjoy awesome content written by military spouses but print exclusive coupons for use in the commissary.

This is the official site via DECA for military commissaries. Learn about Commissary Rewards, Curbside 2 Go as well as a ton of other various resources that you probably didn’t even know existed at your local commissary. You can even sign up to find out about deals and news first.
