Pearl City Peninsula

In 2012 we PCS’D to Hawaii and quickly moved into Pearl City Peninsula housing. Within one week of living there I fell down the stairs in which there were 12 steps. I felt as though I were pushed from the top but didn’t think too much of it at the time.

A month later we had family visiting and were watching a movie when out of nowhere, my brand new sunglasses flew off the kitchen counter into the living room. We all looked at each other like OMG! Fast forward to three months later, I bought a pink shag rug for my 3 year old’s daughters room. Everyone morning I woke up to the rug being rolled up and sitting in the hallway between her room and mine and she told me the rug scared her. So I threw it away.

I also witnessed a silhouette of a young girl traveling up the stairs while watching tv on my couch. Hubby at this point thought I was going crazy. I contacted a paranormal investigator. He and his team came in while we stood outside our home. I never told him about anything that had occurred which was way more than the above. He then asked to bless my home and my family after burning sage throughout and mentioned a few areas of my home had negative energy and my daughters room had angelic spirits. We no longer live there and I also went broke replacing several picture frames from them flying off my walls and shattering!

So my husband had been deployed for a couple of months, and I had gotten settled back in to the routine noises of the house, and  dealing with a newborn and a toddler so I just dismissed “strange” noises in the house. One night, I was in bed dead asleep and all of a sudden I was woken up by a shuffling, and the feeling of someone in the room with me. Thinking it was my toddler I said “get back to bed!” Expecting to be answered by a little four old voice, I was jolted awake by an adult male voice clearly answer me back saying, “I’m sorry.” I jumped out of bed and saw a shadow disappear. I literally jumped up and checked the entire house, but no one was there and everything was locked up tighter than Fort Knox. Both the kids were sleeping like logs, so it’s safe to say I was wide awake the remainder of the night.

However he didn’t go away. LOL!  A few nights later, I heard my youngest laughing and giggling in the middle of the night and I hear him playing with a toy, so I get up and I go into check on him. As I open the door I see him looking out the front of his crib belly laughing and reaching out towards nothing. I said, “Hey, waking me up wasn’t fun but you waking my kid will be less fun, can we work on not waking anyone up in the middle of the night?” What’s kind of funny is, after I said that honestly, no one in the house ever got woken up in the middle of the night again. It was either them laughing and playing before they went to sleep or waking up in the morning laughing and playing. So I guess my story is not so creepy really, we got along really well with our ghost. .
