It’s been a rough few week days here at Army Wife 101. I had family in town and I kind of stepped off my blogging grind for a week or so. I guess I am entitled since I been doing this non stop since 2009. However , I am getting back into the swing of things and with 23 days until Christmas I thought I should pass on some useful info. Albeit a bit late!
While surfing through the AAFES website I learned that they now offer “Fee Free Layaway”. This means that $3 processing fee they normally charge will be done away with through December 24th. Additionally AAFES patrons will now have the opportunity to put laptops, tablets, and PC’s on layaway through December 16. Normally electronics that are $299 and up are excluded from the layaway option. Frankly that doesn’t make much sense to me since the most expensive items are usually what people would want to put on layaway. I digress!
To place items on layaway simply visit the customer service desk at your local Exchange and have a 15% deposit ready to put down.
