Readers of Army Wife 101 should know by now that I love to travel. Of course traveling to far exotic places would be great but realistically our vacations mainly consist of visiting one of the 50 states or the occasional US territory.
One of the places we love to visit is Florida. Living here in North Carolina it’s the most convenient “vacation” like place we can go with little time to spare and feel like we really got away . Not to mention when you have kids the vacations tends to revolve around them and Florida has an incredible amount of kid friendly things to do.
As usual I am always updating discounts in my head and for you guys and I want to remind you that one of my son’s favorite toys LEGOS actually has a theme park and they have continued their military promotion for 2014.
All active duty military personnel including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard and Reservists are now entitled to free single day admission to LEGOLAND Florida and the LEGOLAND Water Park (open seasonally). Specifically geared for families with children ages 2 to 12, LEGOLAND Florida also offers substantial savings for family and friends of military personnel so all can enjoy the more than 50 rides, shows, attractions and the newest expansion, The LEGO World of Chima presented by Cartoon Network featuring an interactive family water ride, The Quest for CHI.
To redeem their free admission ticket, active duty military personnel should present their military identification card to LEGOLAND Florida’s ticket window the day they plan to visit. Family and friends of military personnel also receive substantial discounts on admission tickets and should make purchases in advance through participating military base ticket offices.
