I’m a big girl and while I guess I’ve lucked up in that I don’t have a super huge top section I still have a little something to hold up there. I believe the proper under garment foundation under your clothes is essential to making your clothes look great on you.

This means wearing the proper bra. I am a firm believer in the right bra simply because it can make your stature appear better and elongate your waist and torso area when everything is sitting correctly on top.

I recently had the chance to try the Molded Padded Seamless Underwire Full Figure Bra from LeadingLady.com . All you need to do is look at the picture below to see how well this bra holds up after several washes and how it gives me the right fit without the grandma-ish Madonna cone shaped look. In addition for those of us with a little side boob fat and a little back fat , you will love the fact that this bra has a wide width band to hold all of that in. This all makes for a nice smooth look in your clothes.

Comfort-ability was another issue that I was worried about. I need to know that a bra isn’t going to start digging into my skin after a certain number of hours and that I won’t have a bunch of ugly indention’s on my shoulders. I can’t speak on all their bras but I had good results with this one.

This bra retails for $38 comes in 8 colors and I have listed some of the features below:

  • Molded seamless style looks great under clothing
  • Lightly padded cups
  • Adjustable straps for comfort
  • Underwire for added breast support
  • Latex free

I know for a fact that we have tons of preggo mama’s here in the Army Wife 101 community and nursing bras are essential. Leading Lady specializes in those as well.

  1. This is AWESOME! Being the very busty girl that I am (38G), and finding out were newly preggers. My biggest concern was finding a decent over the shoulder boulder holder since its already difficult finding comfortable daily bra. Ive become dependent on Lane Bryants Balconette Bras and needed some options :)

  2. I used to love underwire bras before this pregnancy taught me better. It seems that my choice now is no wire with a sports bra feel. It’s the only comfort I get from this growing pain :)

    • Hi Denise,

I used to love underwire too but have switched to one without underwire. Recently, I purchased breastnest for after work hours and it’s wonderful. I’m thinking of wearing it to work too. So comfy and zero pain.

  3. Oh how I love this post I am a “professional bra fitter” ;) I love that you wrote about the importance of a good foundation! Because it really is so incredibly important, I kind of love when women come in with the complete wrong size bra and I know they will walk out feeling amazing in the RIGHT size and great looking bra! One bra I think you might also love is the modern movement t’shirt bra they have one specifically made with higher sides and back smoothing technology. They are currently 2 for $60 at Dillards. Sorry to write a book, have a great weekend!

  4. I LOVE sports bras but they are not always practical. Underwires are so uncomfortable after several hours of wearing them. I guess my favorite would have to be no underwire!

  5. I have to have an underwire! After I finally decided to get fitted by someone who knew what they were going I have a totally different relationship with bras now!

  6. Sounds like an awesome bra! I’m a busty girl myself and would live to try this one out, I’m always looking for a good bra!

  7. I *just* asked my friends on fb to help get me fitted for a bra! This would be perfect timing (once I figure out what the size actually is, lol)

  8. I needed to put you one little word in order to say thank you yet again considering the superb things you have shared on this site. This has been so open-handed with you to convey easily all a lot of people could possibly have sold as an e-book to make some cash for themselves, certainly considering that you could possibly have done it if you desired. The things in addition worked as the great way to be aware that some people have the same desire really like my own to figure out many more in regard to this condition. I am certain there are many more enjoyable opportunities ahead for many who view your blog post. Louis Vuitton http://www.revolutionforums.org/louisvuitton.html
