Starting today you will see a new section on my blog for local happenings here in North Carolina but mainly in the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg area.

For those of you who don’t know we are stationed here at Fort Bragg so it is important to share all the fun things here to keep our families occupied.

At times I will share happenings outside of the Fort Bragg area such as the NC State Fair in October.

  1. I loved the NC State Fair when I lived in Raleigh, it was always on my list of favorite things to do. The “oreo cookie” cows, the giant pumpkins and the fried pickles are the memories that make me smile.

  2. awesome idea! We have a facebook page here with some listings of some great fall activities (corn mazes, apple picking) around this area. I can get those to you if you would like to add them. Just shoot me an email and let me know. I also live in Spring Lake! =)

  3. I have four kids and the younger two can ride most of the rides (with an adult). I do not have friends in the area yet but would really like to go with a group of Army wives especially since hubby will be gone. Email me if anyone is interested in going as a group.
