No matter where you live we all want to keep our carpets clean and stain free. With that said stained carpets in military housing or renting a home can mean forking over lots of money when it is time to move out. A while back a friend in Hawaii told me about a $1 bottle of multipurpose cleaner from the Dollar store called LA’s Totally Awesome Cleaner. I recently purchased some here in NC and had to use it the other day on a some black ugly stains that were on my daughter’s closet floor.

The people at my church SWEAR by this product and I got a bottle and LOVE IT! It cleans EVERYTHING!
I’ve never used Awesome on carpet but I was told about this stuff too, before we left our last base and It did work wonders on the stove.oven, walls and all!
Someone linked your site on the Sears FB, so I’m reading all your articles and commenting on some. I want to add that Kool-aid is a PAIN to get out of a rug. I have a steam cleaner and it never got it out or even lightened it. A year after having a bunch of kool-aid stains in my daughters room, I found that that putting some dish soap with hot water in a spray bottle, shake it up, and spray the stain, take a thin white cloth and place it over where you sprayed, then use a hot iron and iron the cloth where the spots are. The kool-aid stain will be transferred onto the cloth. It might have to be done a few times to get it, but it works.
If you are left to clean up after your painter this
will cost you more time and money and frustration.
