Every year the DOD releases the rates of which military personnel will receive for military housing. Your Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) rate is determined by zip code and rank.
According to SpouseBuzz BAH for 2017 is only intended to cover 97% of your household expenses (which still isn’t bad), but more cuts are expected in the next few years.
