I’ve learned to accept my curves and extra padding for what it is. Even so, being plus size can present some challenges when it comes time to attend some of the obligatory commitments we as military wives go to.

Letta Plus Size Dress in Tangerine by Igigi (Formal)

This dress fits like a glove and the A-line flow of it helps hide tummy problems. The layers are heavy and you will confident that you are covered. I also like that the dress is short sleeve and hides the top of your arms. If you are short you can literally get away with wearing any flat shoe under here because the dress will cover your shoes. If you are tall I would opt for a gold open toe strapless shoe. The dress is great for a formal occasion with a simple piece of jewelry.

Kiyonna Retro Glam Dress (Formal)

I felt exactly what the title of this dress is…Retro. This dress makes for  great formal piece for a ball. It exudes sexiness and class and covers you in all the right areas. The lace gives you the sex appeal. I paired this with a pair of black pattern plain heels and wear a size 4 which is Kiyonna sizes their clothes.

Sara Cherry Blossom Top by Lucky Brand in Size 3x (Casual)

Homecoming is a very proud moment for us. It’s also the one time out of the year that we really want to doll up for our man. Unfortunately because nothing is ever set in stone with homecomings, I like to opt for comfort. With the fall coming up I thought that this peasant sleeve top that hangs with a curve tail rounded hem paired with denim jeggings would be great. The shirt is a really comfy cotton with a beautiful design of cherry blossoms that hangs perfectly around rare ends. I paired with my trusty brown boots from Dots.com available for $26. I could have gotten a smaller size but I love for these kind of shirts to hang loose and they are perfect for hiding tummy issues.

Jones NY Short Sleeve Wrap Dress (Casual)

The power of a wrap dress is amazing when you are plus size. If you want to go the dress route then this awesome wrap dress is a must have. I paired with nude heels and wallah!

Suzy Top n Black and White by Queen Grace (Casual)

I thought this top was another cute casual choice. You can pair with it jeans or as I did with black leggings. I chose a black basic heel but if you needs flats for a boot or black flats. Great for when you are waiting around at homecoming. The material is light weight and flowy.

Alfanic Three Quarter Sleeve Printed Tunic Size 3x (Casual)

I loved this fun tunic top with lots of color. This top is great for people who are starting to come experiment with color. The pattern and colors are bold but not overly crazy and give you room for lots of shoe choices. Again for people who have a fear of showing their arms , this shirts lets you do so with sheer three quarter sleeves. I paired with sheer leggings and a simple sandal. You can also opt for jeans and heels.
