I remember taking our first trip to Seaworld via the Hero Salute program.

We went to SeaWorld two years in a row and enjoyed every minute of it.

I know many were curious if this same program was going to continue in 2013 , since it’s such a good get away for those quick weekends especially if you live near any of the theme parks that are part of Hero Salute.

I checked out the Hero Salute aka Waves of Honor website and am happy to announce that free admission for military and up to 3 dependents is back again until the end of 2013. I should inform you that when you go to the actual registration page it still says 2012 but I noticed that happened the year before. I will just chalk it up to it not being updated yet.

The parks included are Bush Gardens , Sesame Place , SeaWorld , Water Country USA and Adventure Island.

From The Site:

Throughout 2013, any active duty, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman is entitled to a free one time admission at either SeaWorld®, Busch Gardens®, Adventure Island®, Water Country USA®, and Sesame Place® for military personnel and as many as three direct dependents.
