Disclosure: I was sent a pair of Lil Troops figurines to facilitate this review.

I recently had the chance to check out the newest addition to the military toy collection called “Lil Troops”. These military action figurines are the first to be licensed by the US Army. They are all about 3″ tall and there are 5 different types which include:

The Desert Trooper
The Infantryman
The Rescue Pilot
The Recon Scout
The Urban Trooper

Naturally I knew I wasn’t going to play with the figurines the way a child would so I passed them on over to my son . We were sent “The Infantryman” and “The Rescue Pilot”. He loved both of them but of course he loved the “Rescue Pilot” more because his did is a helicopter mechanic and he loves planes and helicopters or anything that flies or represents flying for that matter. They each came with their own little accessories which really makes it feel like they real and although my son is nine he loved playing with them.

These are even fun for a kid to send their parent during a deployment and to give during separations from parents.

These lil guys make great gifts  and I personally think will make fabulous little stocking stuffers during the holidays. In addition to being affordable at only $7.99 each , a portion of the proceeds goes to Morale Welfare & Recreation aka MWR. These are the folks that handle all the entertainment and fun programs that help keep military and their families in great spirits.
