Sunday was our last day in Myrtle Beach and our girls weekend was slowly but steady coming to an end. So we did what moms did best when away from the kids, we lounged for a while. Once again Myrtle Beach has such amazing sunsets. We also heard what appeared to be a military band playing in honor of Veteran’s Day. Our trip couldn’t come to an end without a little more fun so we just had to visit Ripley’s Museum. If you aren’t familiar with the Ripley’s brand you are in for a treat. The museum was filled with all kinds of funky , weird and fun exhibits. We had a ball being like kids and taking them all in. If you have children definitely be sure to stop here. It’s a must! In addition all Ripley’s provide a 50% discount for military.

Our day ended with a lunch stop at the popular 2nd Ave Pier , a seafood eatery overlooking the water. You can sit in or outside.

Overall Myrtle Beach is extremely friendly for traveling situations of any type. If you are looking for night life you will find it at places like Broadway on the Beach, House of Blues and various nightclubs. For those who choose to relax it’s evident that it is super possible as there are an assortment of resorts and hotels to choose from in every price range. For those who love the outdoors you will bask in not only the beauty of the beaches but fun activities like zip lining. One of my favorite parts of Myrtle Beach is all of the fun little candy and ice cream shops along the strip. For military there are tons of military discounted activities to make your stay enjoyable and affordable.

We are already making plans to go back for the Summer…See you there!
