Nope Halloween still isn’t here and neither is Thanksgiving , but somehow we are already working on Christmas. AAFES is joining in the beginning of the holiday season with what I consider the best way to do any major shopping …LAYAWAY!
On September 12th AAFES aka the PX begin waiving the fee applied to purchases placed on layaway. Patrons of the PX can now save the $3 service fee on any purchases up until December 24th.
Additionally electronic layaways for items such as tablets, laptops ect. will begin November 1st. Using layaway is a great way to keep gifts hidden and also avoid using credit cards.
A deposit of 15 percent is required to hold items on layaway at the Exchange. Shoppers can visit customer service for complete program details and eligibility information.
