Summer is coming and I am seeing lots of questions about vacation spots that offer military discounts. I recently got word of this one from Beaches.com that I know you all will love.

The Details

Beaches Resorts recently announced a 15% Fall Military Program discount offer for U.S. and Canada Military personnel.  Now through October 25, 2012, Military personnel can receive an extra 5% off their year-round 10% discount for travel from September 4, 2012 through October 31, 2012 at all Beaches Resorts. This exclusive offer is available for all active and retired U.S. and Canada Military personnel and includes the Reserves, U.S. National Guard, U.S. Veterans, Department of Defense and Canada Department of National Defense. Proof of Military identification or discharge certificate is required upon check-in at the resort.

Promotional offer and savings valid for direct bookings only. Certain conditions apply. **15% savings will be applied for Beaches Resorts bookings made 2/06/2012 until 10/25/2012 for travel beginning 9/4/2012 and completed by 10/31/2012.

In addition to the discount I am really loving the fact that their resorts are in fact kid friendly. They are a proud sponsor of Sesame Street and offer small kids the opportunity to hang out with their favorite characters through their Beaches Resorts Caribbean Adventure with Sesame Street in addition to exclusive kids camps. Older kids and teens can join in the fun with their very own lounge and hanging area known as “The Trenches” or even learn how to DJ at the “Scratch Dj Academy”.

In the meantime you can send the kids on their way and enjoy a plethora of grown up fun with unlimited wine , scuba lessons , gourmet dining and more. When you start missing the kiddos there are tons of family activities such as the X-box 360 Garage  and fun water parks.
