We all know with the recent popularity of “extreme couponers” most folks don’t want to be considered what has infamously become known as “shelf clearers”.

The commissary (along with most regular grocery stores) will let you place what is known as a special order. Let’s say you wanted 32 bottles of detergent, instead of clearing a shelf the special order would allow them to place a bulk order together for you.

Special orders are not only useful for bulk purchases, but in most instances allow those overseas to order a product from a larger commissary that your smaller commissary may not carry.
